Biography

Benedicta Lasi is a Partner at Edfields Attorneys. She has been a member of the Ghana Bar Association since her admission as an attorney in 2017.

Benedicta is currently the Secretary-General for Socialist International, a political international organisation that seeks to establish democratic socialism.

She has over 15 years of work experience in various fields including law, investment, energy and politics.

She serves as a Transaction Advisor for Africa Investment Consortium and a Consultant at Fitch Advisory. She was also the Executive Director for the Center for African Legal Studies at the UPSA Law School from August 2020 to September 2021 and the Legal and business Development Manager at Woodfields Energy Resources.

She holds several academic qualifications including; a Master in Economic Policy Management from the University of Ghana, a Master in Conflict, Peace, and Security from the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre, a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Ghana, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Sociology from the same institution.
